Slang for a man who propositions women

I'm writing a story involving the character Peter Vincent.  I'm looking to find out if there is a British Slang equivalent to lech, playboy, swinger or a man on the prowl for a one night stand.

I've heard the term "pull" as in he pulled her.  I've seen it used in reference to a man pulling a woman.  Does a woman pull a man or is there a comparable word?
